christmas

Christmas started off on christmas eve with the traditional dinner at mums. Mum always goes all out and this is a pic of the main table. There was another one for the kids. We always open the presents early so the kids have something to occupy themselves while we get down to the serious task of eating all the food.

This is a pic of my gingerbread house that my mum made for me. Mum also made one for my sister. Mine is already demolished. I take a bit as i pass it.

I spent ages wrapping all those presents and it took roughly 10 minutes to be ripped apart. Luckily the boys loved them all.

Here are my boys enjoying the rest of christmas day. It wasnt really all that hot but they were determined to go swimming.

Ive got more pics of the other two days of presents and christmas cheer... its been a hectic few days. ill update later when i have a bit more time.

Santa Visit

As you can see the trip to the shops yesterday wasnt a TOTAL exersise in futility. We managed to get a photo taken with Santa for the first time in ohhh 4 years and to top it off it was at Dylans suggestion.... whooohoo. And the cream on top of aalll that sugar is check out the smiles!!! Pretty natural looking to me, all it took was a 20 minute wait. We also had to wait 30 mins for them to get a haircut.We didnt actually get much done in the way of shopping.It was absoulute madness at the shops and of course yours truely decided to go back for more today. All things considered the boys did really well and definately deserve their visit from Santa. So does Mum (hint hint Dad)

last days till christmas

***Update*** Jess actually called tonight so dylan is happy. Shes lost her phone so she cant text him but at least he got to talk to her. Shes having fun which is good, I wish she'd hurry up and come home though.



Only 3 days till christmas and i still have to go to the shops. I need to get the boys haircut,go to the butchers, get last minute presents that dear hubby was supposed to get. All the while with three kids and hundreds of other mums and kids...oh joy this is gonna be fun. At some point i need to get my nails done so i look bootiful for christmas...WHY ??? I dont know , we're only going to be by the pool for the two days.
We havent heard from Jessica whos obviously enjoying herself in Thailand. Dylan is hanging out for a postcard from her..... she has another 4 weeks to deliver on her pre holiday promise.....we'll see if she remembers in between her pool/beach trips
Hmmm i suppose i should stop delaying and start getting the munchkins ready to tackle the shops. uggh here we gooooooo...

This is going to be interesting

Without a doubt... this should be good. I am sooo not computer savvy and i have just decided to join the blogging world. What was i thinking!!. Reminds me of the Dierks Bently song. I'm off to think about the reasoning behind this decision.
